Upgrade Familia Romana from version 1.0 (CD-ROM) to V1.3 (Zip packed 378 kb)
Changes in version 1.3
* You can now have 10 lines of questions on one page of 'pensa' rather than 3.
* The 'Lingua latina' web page can be accessed easily from the 'www' menu. This way you can always check for the latest upgrades.
* Due to public demand, the program no longer changes your screen resolution to 1024x768 automatically.
If your screen resolution is lower than this, you are reminded to change
it, and you must do so manually - well, you did ask for it.
If your resolution is higher than this, the window may not fill out the entire screen.
* The window can now be moved freely on your desktop. those of you with very large screens can therefore
run more programs simultaneously.
* A few graphic touches added.
* - and all the features from upgrade 1.2 of course.
INSTALLATION
Unzip the program to any folder of your choice (desktop will do nicely) .
Copy the 'latina.exe' file to your LINGVA LATINA directory (usually c:\program
files\LLPSI\ ).
This will overwrite the old version of LINGVA LATINA, but you may wish to keep a backup copy just in case.
(old) Upgrade Familia Romana from version 1.0 (CD-ROM) to V1.2 (Zip packed 270Kb)
This upgrade is older, but use it if you experience problems with the V1.3 upgrade
FIXES AND FEATURES in V1.2:
Fix: Additional partitions recognised.
CD-ROM drives recognised up to partition K:
New feature: Full install.
You can now make a FULL installation of the FAMILIA ROMANA CD-ROM on your hard drive, making the program run without the CD. Simply copy the LATMEDIAfolder from your CD-ROM into your LLPSI folder (usually C:\\ program files\LLPSI) after installing this upgrade.
New feature: Fast forward.
You can now rewind and fast-forward in the audio content.

FIXES AND FEATURES from V1.0 to V1.1 (also contained in later
upgrades):
Some users have experienced difficulties in registering the program, chiefly while using a firewall. This update should solve the problem.
The screen layout has been improved, so that the entire width of the page can fit on the screen, even at high magnification.
Magnification is controlled with a slider, rather than two buttons.
'TABULAE' are now presented in a seperate window, rather than changing your current page.
Nice backdrop.
Users with graphic cards capable of alphablending are treated to a few nice spot-effects.
New feature: Bookmarks.
You can set up to five bookmarks by selecting the number of the wanted bookmark and pressing 'FIX'. The current page
is then remembered by the bookmark. Jump between the bookmarks by pressing the individual bookmarks.
New feature: Skip question.
A new button has been included in PENSA. This allows you to skip the current question and proceed to the next.
New feature: Macron on '1' key.
Some countries have keyboard overlays that do not facilitate easy access to the 'umlaut' key, which used in LINGVA LATINA for setting a macron. To remedy this will the '1' (one) key also work as a macron.
